4th of July

For the 4th of July John convinced me that we should go into New York City and introduce Bryce to the rivalry between the Yankees and the Red Sox. Bryce got all ready for the event!


The sunglasses and the hat were a bit too big but we couldn't resist letting Bryce wear them for a few minutes.


John and Bryce had a great time at the game - until...

The rain came! Bryce fell asleep in my arms so John was stuck holding the umbrella over the two of us so that Bryce would stay dry. What a great dad!

As we left Yankee Stadium, which will be torn down next year, we saw the new Yankee Stadium in the distance and couldn't resist a picture.

It was a great 4th of July, even without seeing any fireworks. It was fun to spend the day in the NYC with Steve, Suzi, and Will MacKay. Thanks for such a great day!
